Bacteria
Gloeocapsa Magma:
Gloeocapsa magma is one of the many bacteria that are found in the Everglades National Park. Many bacteria and pathogens are either waterborne or airborne. This bacteria found in the national park is usually found in the algae in the water in the swamps. The bacteria is often found overall in the south. Gloeocapsa magma is a photosynthetic bacteria. Meaning that they depend on the sun to create energy and thrive. They belong in the bacterium domain, and are part of the cyanobacteria kingdom.

Protists
Amoebas
Amoebas are overall common in the south. Which is where the Everglades National Park is located in the United States. Amoebas are unicellular organisms meaning that they are just composed of one cell. They do not have specific shape. Just like red blood cells, most unicellular organisms hold a specific shape; however, amoebas do not have a classifying shape to them. The amoebas also have a false foot. They belong in the eukaryotic domain. The kingdom they belong to is protista.

Fungi
Crustose Lichen
Lichen is very common to see on the trees and shrubs in the Everglades. This organism is not necessarily just in the group of fungi. It is a mixture of both a mixture of fungi and algae. They have no outer shell. This specific type of lichen below is crustose lichen. They are commonly found growing on cypress trees. Trees that are very common to see in the Everglades National Park. Lichens are part of the lichens kingdom.
