Brief History
The Everglades National Park was established the year 1947. It was done after many conversationalists, advocates, and scientists supported the national park's establishment. Mostly because they wanted to conserve the land's intricate waterways, and its beautiful beauty. Many native groups once made the areas of the national park their home. The intricate waterways and balanced ecosystem is what makes the area so unique and absolutely breathtaking along with its flora and fauna. The area even took part in the United State's war efforts.
